1. What this covers
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on Aura's public marketing site and sign-in page, on the booking pages, websites and landing pages we host for studios, and what we deliberately do not use inside your authenticated workspace. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. Essential cookies
When you log in, we use strictly necessary cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to secure your session (for example authentication tokens managed by our identity provider). These are required for the app to function and can't be switched off from within the product. Our public pages also keep your cookie choices themselves in your browser.
3. Analytics and advertising on our public site
On our public marketing pages and our sign-in page, we use an analytics script operated by Zelus Labs, the company that makes Aura. It is not a third-party ad network. The script is served from our own platform at zeluslabs.dev, and what it measures is sent to that same address. It records anonymized page views, referrers, and on-page interactions to help us improve the site. It runs only if you accept analytics cookies.
If you accept marketing cookies, the same pages also load the Meta pixel, and when you sign up or buy from us we report that event to Meta from our servers too, so that we can measure our own advertising and show it to fewer people who already use Aura. Meta may set its own cookies for this. Declining marketing cookies stops the pixel and is how you opt out of this sharing; you can also block it with any standard tracker-blocking browser or extension.
Neither script is loaded past sign-in, inside your authenticated workspace, and neither has any access to your client records.
4. The pages we host for studios
A studio's booking page, landing pages and website are the studio's own pages, and they show their own cookie banner. Our analytics script is not on them. A studio can switch on simple visit counts for its website, which run only if the visitor accepts them, and a studio that has set its Meta pixel loads it on its booking and landing pages for visitors who accept marketing cookies. Questions about a studio's pages go to the studio.
The public suites page, where people apply to rent a suite from the rental business described in our Terms of Service, is part of our own public site and not a studio's page, so it shows our cookie banner and section 3 applies to it.
5. What we don't do
We do not run third-party advertising cookies or marketing/tracking beacons inside your authenticated workspace. That environment is reserved for your data and your clients' data only. We do not sell or lease data gathered through cookies.
6. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings and through our consent banner on the public site, which you can reopen from the Cookie Preferences button on any public page. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from staying logged in. For questions about this policy, contact privacy@zeluslabs.dev.
